Kevin has been asked to paint many unexpected subjects and is up for any challenge. However, special requests are usually the subjects similar to his body of work. Home portraits, favorite business establishments that people own or enjoy, favorites flowers for still life, or general subjects like farms or special lake and bayside scenes.

If you have a furry friend, he accepts a handful of pet portraits each year, small in size, which he enjoys doing on a limited basis. Kevin enjoys discussing these ideas, gathering as much information as possible beforehand.

Commissions can be done on location, from photos or some combination thereof. If looking for a specific sized piece for a specific location in your home, he often transforms his smaller pieces into larger pairings on commission. He has found this process works well for the artist and collector. Working in this fashion gives the commissioner a very visual picture in terms of colors, composition and subject before the brush even touches the canvas so they may be confident in the resulting piece.
