"Wawashkamo Now: Bicentennial of the War of 1812" by artist Kevin Barton was selected as first place winner of the 2012 (63rd annual) Mackinac Island Lilac Festival art poster. A reception is being held to honor those who participated in the juried competition at the Wawashkamo Golf Club at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. The poster will be available and Kevin will be present to sign posters during this time.
